Three ways to make money together

Choose the partnership that fits your business.

Whether you bring client relationships, delivery capacity, or both, there is a practical way to collaborate. Each engagement is agreed in writing before work begins.

01

Business development

Refer a project. Share in the value.

Introduce a company struggling with tolerance-stack backlog, errors or design revisions. Rev4 scopes and delivers the project. Qualified referral compensation can be negotiated for an accepted, completed engagement.

Best for: consultants with industry relationships who do not want to perform every calculation.

02

Specialist subcontracting

Get paid to do the engineering.

Join a Rev4-led project as an independent engineer. Complete analysis, review existing stacks, resolve dimensional issues or support supplier changes. Scope, rates and deliverables are established per project.

Best for: mechanical engineers, GD&T specialists and tolerance-stack practitioners.

03

Joint client delivery

Bring your client. Expand your offering.

Keep leading the customer relationship while collaborating with Rev4 to handle drawing-data extraction, analysis volume and revision tracking. Commercial ownership and delivery responsibilities are agreed upfront.

Best for: independent engineering firms that want to accept bigger or recurring programs.

A delivery advantage, without building new software

Do more engineering. Spend less time rekeying drawings.

IrisX helps capture and compare engineering drawing data; Tolerance360 supports stack calculations and result management. Your engineering judgment remains essential.

▤
IrisX — 2D drawing intelligence

Capture dimensions, tolerances, GD&T and changes from PDFs, scans and legacy engineering drawings, even when no 3D model exists.

▦
Tolerance360 — stack workflow

Support dimensional calculations, review, Excel-friendly delivery, a shared record of analyses and revision management.

✓
Your expertise stays essential

You define requirements, interpret the chain, validate assumptions, assess risks and explain engineering decisions.

Software access, training, licenses and permitted data use are discussed for each partnership. No entitlement is implied by submitting an inquiry.

From analysis to managed delivery

Show prospects how your expertise becomes an engineered deliverable.

A two-step Tolerance360 workflow: complete the tolerance analysis in Excel, then organize the engineering work and its records in the WorkBench. Your engineering judgment drives the process.

01
ANALYZE & REVIEW

Build and check the tolerance stack

Tolerance360 · Excel interface Actual software screen
Tolerance360 Excel ribbon with stack selection and tolerance-analysis results

Use familiar Excel workflows to define, calculate and review tolerance stacks, methods, assumptions and results.

02
ORGANIZE & DELIVER

Keep parts, stacks and revisions together

Tolerance360 · WorkBench Actual software screen

Manage the related engineering data and analysis records so studies are easier to review, maintain and hand off.

Where IrisX fits: When source dimensions must be recovered from PDF or scanned 2D drawings, IrisX can extract and track that information upstream. Tolerance360 is the tool used for tolerance-stack analysis and management.

What you can sell

Six engineering problems customers already understand.

✓
Review & correct Excel tolerance stacks

Check chains, direction, formulas, assumptions, datums and revision status.

⊞
Eliminate an analysis backlog

Complete a defined group of stacks for product-development or sustaining teams.

↺
Maintain stacks after ECOs

Assess drawing changes, supplier substitutions and revised part tolerances.

▤
Recover engineering data from 2D

Help clients who have PDF or scanned drawings but no accessible native CAD.

◉
Provide temporary dimensional capacity

Support clients who need specialized assistance without permanent headcount.

↗
Grow into recurring service

Move from a focused review or backlog pilot into an ongoing retainer.

An uncomplicated path

How partnership starts

You retain your independence. We align on the customer, the engineering scope and the commercial arrangement before delivery.

01 · INTRODUCE

Tell us your specialty

Share your background, industries, software experience and preferred engagement model.

02 · ALIGN

Choose how to work

Discuss referrals, paid project delivery or joint-client collaboration.

03 · AGREE

Define business terms

Document role, rate or referral compensation, confidentiality and client responsibilities.

04 · DELIVER

Earn through work

Contribute to a qualified project when an engagement is available and approved.

Commercial terms, opportunities and assignments are subject to agreement and availability. This is an invitation to discuss partnership—not a job offer, guarantee of leads, preset referral percentage or grant of ownership/equity.

Frequently asked questions

Keep your independence.

Can I bring my own clients?

Yes, this is a possible collaboration model. Client ownership, non-solicitation requirements, confidentiality and delivery responsibilities should be defined in a written agreement before work begins.

What if I only want to refer leads?

Qualified referral arrangements may be offered. Any compensation, trigger for payment, exclusions and duration would be agreed before a referral is made.

Do I need to learn Tolerance360?

Not for a referral-only relationship. Project-delivery work may involve appropriate tools and onboarding, depending on your role and client requirements.

Will Rev4 provide me with customers?

Projects may arise through Rev4 or through your own network; volume and timing are not guaranteed. We match opportunities by expertise, availability and agreed client requirements.

Can I use my own software or templates?

Possibly. We define acceptable tools, output requirements and information security arrangements for each engagement.
